Exploring Life, Building Relationships, and Growing Together at Boulder Valley
Boulder, United States - August 19, 2025 / Boulder Valley Christian Church /
Fall at Boulder Valley Christian Church is a season filled with opportunities to connect in meaningful ways, ask honest questions, and grow both spiritually and personally. It is a time to commit to community, choose to contribute, and connect to God through intentional relationships and shared experiences. Whether someone is brand new to exploring faith, looking for a deeper sense of belonging, or ready to take a bold step in their spiritual journey, there is a place for them there.
Alpha offers a welcoming space to explore questions about life, faith, and God. There are several other opportunities, such as Life Groups, Launch, and Ultimate Journey, which also invite people into meaningful community, each shaped by Boulder Valley’s commitment to creating a culture where everyone belongs.
Alpha: Honest Conversations About Life and Faith
Many people carry big questions about life, faith, and God. They may wonder about their purpose, wrestle with doubts, or simply want to understand what it means to live with hope. Alpha is a safe, welcoming environment to explore those questions without pressure or judgment. It is not about having all the answers, but about making space for meaningful conversations where every voice matters.
What To Know
Beginning September 4 and running through November 20, Alpha meets every Thursday evening from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. The format is simple but intentionally designed to help people connect. Each evening begins with dinner together, because relationships often grow best around the table. Over a shared meal, strangers become acquaintances, acquaintances become friends, and friends begin to feel like family.
What To Expect Each Week
After dinner, there will be a short video designed to spark meaningful conversations about life, purpose, and faith. The discussion time that follows is a time where people can speak freely, listen deeply, and explore different perspectives, with no pressure and no judgment. Some people may come from a place of deep faith, while others may come from none at all. Everyone is welcome and will be received warmly.
Getting Started
This fall, Alpha is designed especially for people who are not yet part of a Life Group. The hope is that the relationships formed in these conversations will grow into an ongoing community after Alpha concludes. High school students and adults of all ages are welcome to attend. If you can’t make it to the first meeting, that’s fine. Join anytime along the way! Click HERE for more information and to sign up.
*Please note that childcare is not provided.
Other Opportunities for Connection and Growth
Life Groups: Building Authentic Relationships Beyond Sunday
Life Groups are at the heart of Boulder Valley’s mission to build authentic relationships with God and one another. They are close-knit communities where people are loved, supported, and encouraged to grow in faith and life. In these circles, people celebrate joys together, walk alongside each other through challenges, and discover what it means to live as a family of believers.
Groups meet all across Boulder County, from Boulder to Erie, Longmont to Broomfield, and are open to every stage of life. Joining a Life Group means stepping into a consistent space where discipleship happens naturally. It is a way to move from simply attending church to living in community, where transformation can take root and bear fruit.
Launch: Discovering Your Next Step
Launch is a two-week journey for anyone ready to discover how their personal calling connects with Boulder Valley’s mission. It is more than an orientation. It is an introduction to a family on mission. Participants share meals, connect with others, learn about the church’s history and values, and explore their spiritual gifts in a supportive environment.
This fall’s Launch gatherings will be held on September 14 and 21. Lunch and childcare are provided, making it easy for individuals and families to take part. Launch is designed to help people see that following Jesus is more than attending services. It is about becoming part of a community that is committed to living out the mission together.
Ultimate Journey: Deep Transformation Over Six Months
Ultimate Journey is a six-month discipleship process that invites participants to grow in both spiritual and emotional maturity. Meeting weekly on Wednesday nights from September through April, it provides an intentional space for reflection, learning, and transformation.
Through teaching, discussion, and personal reflection, participants learn to trust God in everyday situations, experience His peace, and find freedom from old patterns that hold them back. When people invest in their spiritual and emotional health in this way, the impact reaches far beyond the six months, bearing fruit for years to come.
Taking the Next Step
With so many opportunities available this fall, there is no single starting point that is right for everyone. The important thing is to choose to step into a space where connection, growth, and transformation can happen, whether that means beginning with Alpha, joining a Life Group, attending Launch, or committing to Ultimate Journey.
Details and registration for all of these opportunities can be found on the website or through the church’s events calendar. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to join a group, find the right next step for their journey, and experience the kind of community where they truly belong.
Until Everyone Belongs
At Boulder Valley, the vision is clear. This is a community where no one has to walk their journey alone, because community happens best in circles, not rows. Life change takes root when people gather face-to-face, share openly, and walk alongside one another through both the highs and lows.
This fall is an opportunity to take part in what God is doing in and through this church family. It is a chance to build authentic relationships, grow in faith, and experience the joy of sharing life together. The invitation is for everyone, until everyone belongs.
