New Mexican Sugar in Addison Opens Sept. 22Dallas, TX  (RestaurantNews.com)  Addison’s dining scene is about to heat up when Mexican Sugar officially opens its doors Sept. 22. The new restaurant will serve authentic Latin flavors and agave-fueled cocktails in a lively new space.

Located at 4951 Belt Line Road, the nearly 9,000-square-foot restaurant will debut a striking 360-degree bar designed for happy hours and gatherings, along with its first custom wood-fired oven that will anchor exclusive new menu creations such as Hearth Roasted Coliflor, Crispy Mexican Flatbread, and Queso Flameado.

“Addison is already a great dining destination, and we believe the new Mexican Sugar will add something fresh to the mix,” said Christine Magrann, president and COO of Mexican Sugar. “This location brings all the energy and flavor people love about Mexican Sugar, plus a few additions that make it unlike any we’ve opened before.”

The Addison restaurant is designed as a true multi-sensory experience. Guests enter through a lush courtyard that leads into a striking two-sided tequila display. Inside, the hacienda-style atmosphere comes to life with warm leather, handcrafted tilework, and distinctive lighting. Curated Latin artwork adds depth and storytelling throughout the space, reinforcing the vibrant energy and hospitality that define Mexican Sugar.

Mexican Sugar uses fresh, seasonal ingredients, with every dish made from scratch using time-honored techniques and modern inspiration. Hand-pressed tortillas are made daily with heirloom masa, and signature cocktails are mixed with juices squeezed fresh each day. The menu offers a modern take on traditional Mexican flavors, with favorites like Chicken Mole, Angus Skirt Steak, and Barbacoa Tacos alongside indulgent dishes such as the Bone-in Pork Chop and Spanish Mussels.

With locations in Plano, Las Colinas, Uptown, and Houston – and new restaurants planned for Austin and Frisco’s Fields West – Mexican Sugar continues to grow as one of North Texas’ most celebrated destinations for Latin dining, cocktails, and private events.
