Iconic Detroit-style pizza brand continues Texas growth with giveaways, local partnerships and charity support
Houston, TX (RestaurantNews.com) What started as a food truck in Austin is now marking a major growth milestone. Via 313, the award-winning Detroit-style pizza brand, is opening its 25th location – and fifth in the Houston area – on Friday, Aug. 15, at 20725 Tuckerton Rd., Ste. 100, across from H-E-B in Cypress.
Doors will open with purpose and celebration featuring grand opening festivities from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. The community-centered activities include a prize wheel, a photo booth activation by Bub’s Photos, ticket giveaways with White Oak Music Hall, and product sampling from Eureka Heights Brewery and Still Austin. In addition, Cy-Fair Helping Hands will have an on-site information table, and 25% of all opening day proceeds will be donated to support the nonprofit’s mission to empower the homeless and hungry through compassionate outreach, emergency services and programs that promote self-sufficiency.
A community ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place on Monday, Aug 25, at 11:30, bringing together local officials, partners and neighbors to our newest location.
“Cypress is a great fit for what we’re building in Houston and marks a huge milestone in our expansion,” said Brandon Hunt, who co-founded Via 313 with his brother Zane in 2011. “Every new neighborhood gives us an exciting opportunity to connect with more people over quality pizza, and that’s what keeps us moving forward.”
Via 313 Cypress will operate Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
